OSSSC Teacher Recruitment 2024: 2,629 vacancies announced at osssc.gov.in

NEW DELHI: The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of teachers in government schools under ST, SC development. As per the official notification, OSSSC teachers recruitment application 2024 window will open on April 1.

Interested candidates will be able to apply for Odisha teachers recruitment 2024 through the official website, osssc.gov.in. The last date to submit the OSSSC teachers recruitment application form is April 30, 2024.

The details of scale of pay, age, eligibility criteria and other parameters will be announced in the detailed notification which will be available on the official portal of the commission. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks scored in the written examination followed by document verification round.

The OSSSC teachers recruitment written test, document verification dates will be announced by the commission in due course of time.

OSSSC Recruitment 2024: Vacancy details

The OSSSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,629 posts for the posts of teachers in TGT (Arts), TGT (science-PCM), TGT (Science-CBZ), Sanskrit teacher, Hindi teacher, Physical Education Teacher (PET), Tribal language teacher and Sevak/Sevika in government schools.

It is expected that the candidate must have attained 21 years of age and must not be above 38 years of age as of April 1, 2024. However, candidates belonging to the reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per government norms.
