NEW DELHI, JULY 29: Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has announced on their official website - bseodisha.nic.in, that Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) 2019 will be conducted from August 5 in three shifts per day. Candidates were able to fill the application form of OTET 2019 from July 15 to July 26. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted on January 16, 2019 which was cancelled.
The admit card of BSE Odisha TET will be available from August 2, 11:00 am onwards. Candidates will be able to download OTET admit card 2019 by logging in using their registration number and email ID.
BSE Odisha TET 2019 examination will consist of two papers - Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is conducted for candidates who wish to teach classes I to V while candidates who wish to teach classes VI to VIII will have to take Paper II. Candidates who are willing to teach from classes I to VIII will have to take both papers.
Both papers will carry 150 marks each. Candidates appearing for Paper II can choose either Mathematics and Science or Social Studies and those appearing for Paper I will be attempting sections of Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Sections of Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and Language II will be common in both the papers.
On qualifying BSE OTET 2019 candidates will be awarded with Teachers Eligibility Certificate through which they will be eligible to apply in schools under Board of Secondary Education across the state of Odisha.
