Over 73 lakh candidates to appear for RPF exam

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 12: Over 73 lakh candidates will appear for RPF exam which is scheduled to start from December 19, 2018. Earlier on December 9, Central Recruitment Committee of RPF had released the admit card. Candidates can download their RPF admit card online by entering registration number and date of birth. The examination authority has activated the link of practice test to help candidates get familiar with the Computer Based Test (CBT).

Candidates are required to carry one photo-identity proof along with the admit card. Without original photo identity proof, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre. The self-declaration will be displayed on the screen which candidates will have to write in the space provided in the admit card.

The CBT of RPF will be conducted across various centres throughout the country. The test will be held in 15 languages comprising of three sections, General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence & reasoning. Total marks allotted for the CBT is 120. The qualifying marks for general and OBC categories are 35% while that for SC and ST is 30%.

Based on candidates performance in CBT, 10 times the number of vacancies will be selected for the next round of selection process which is Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV).

RPF recruitment is being conducted to select candidates for the post of SI and Constable. As many as 9739 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment exam.
