PGIMER 2019 exam dates announced for July session! Check schedule for exam

NEW DELHI, February 27: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh has released the official notice disclosing the dates of entrance examination for admission to MD and MS seats for the July session. The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 12, 2019, in online mode in various centres located in Chandigarh. The result for the same will be announced on May 13. Counselling for admission to PGIMER MD/MS program has been scheduled from June 14 to July 26, 2019, in Bhargava auditorium. Aspirants who fulfil the eligibility criteria, as specified by the authority, will be required to register themselves for PGIMER July session entrance exam. Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the post-graduate entrance examination, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority. The eligibility criteria have been listed below.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their MBBS from an institute recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Internship: Aspirants who wish to appear for July session of PGIMER 2019 are required to complete the rotatory one-year internship mandatorily by June 20, 2019.

Other: Candidates must possess a registration certificate from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).
PGIMER Application Form 2019
The application form for admissions to PGIMER 2019 will be made available in the second week of March. The authorities will release the application form in the online mode only. However, the application fee has to paid offline. The application fee can be paid either via bank challan in any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) in favour of ‘Director, PGIMER Chandigarh’ or by SBI i-collect service for candidates with SBI bank accounts.
