PGIMER BSc (H) and post-basic nursing 2020 result announced at pgimer.edu.in

NEW DELHI: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has declared the result of B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years) and B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) entrance examination on the official website, pgimer.edu.in. The nursing entrance exam was conducted by PGI Chandigarh on July 28, 2020. On the basis of the candidate’s performance at the national level entrance exam, the result has been declared in the form of a merit list.
The result mentions roll number, candidate’s name, category and percentile. Aspirants whose name has been included in the result does not guarantee admission to the B.Sc. Nursing and B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic). The admission will be subject to further fulfilling the admission criteria and verification of original degree/certificates at the time of counseling/admission.

About the examination
For granting nursing admission to BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing courses, PGI, Chandigarh conducts entrance examinations every year. On the basis of the BSc (Hons.) Nursing results and verification of documents admission will be granted to 47 seats in the General category, 25 seats in the OBC category, 14 seats in the SC category, and 7 seats in the ST category.
While on the basis of B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) result, admission will be granted to 22 seats in the General category, 14 seats in the OBC category, 7 seats in the SC category, and 4 seats in the ST category.
