PSEB 10th 2019 exams to commence from March 15; more than 3.5 lakh students to appear

NEW DELHI, MARCH 14: Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), Mohali is set to begin class 10 board examinations from March 15. The first exam will be of Punjabi subject while the last exam will be conducted of Health and Physical education on April 2, 2019. This year, more than 3,50,000 students are expected to appear for the exams which will begin at 10 am sharp. The official timing of the exam is 10 am to 1:15 pm. First 15 minutes will be given to students to scan through the question paper. The practicals will be held after the completion of theoretical exams between April 5-18, 2019.

Important exam day instructions-

  • Students must make sure to report at the examination centre at least half-an-hour prior to the beginning of the exam.

  • Ensure to be properly dressed in school uniform.

  • Read the question paper thoroughly before beginning to answer any question.

  • Do not spend too much time on one question

  • Highlight all the important points and draw diagrams wherever necessary

  • Spare 15 minutes in the end for revision

Punjab government released a circular last month making Punjabi a mandatory subject in all schools in Punjab. It is mandatory that students of boards like CBSE, ICSE appear for the Punjabi exam in order to be promoted to the next class.
