Rabindranath Tagore University invites applications for academic session 2020

NEW DELHI: Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal has announced the admissions for the academic session 2020-21. The admission process for the year has gone 100% online wherein students are provided with the facilities of online admissions and online fee payment-enabled through the RNTU website, keeping in view the COVID-19 lockdown.RNTU is a part of AISECT group of universities.
In addition to the online admission process, the university has taken various initiatives to digitalize the curriculum so that students do not face any issues while accessing content online during the times of any adversity. The Pan-India AISECT Joint Entrance Exam (AJEE) is required for admission to certain courses in the university and the dates for the same are yet to be announced.
Mr. Santosh Kumar Choubey, Chancellor, RNTU said, "The prime focus of our University remains imparting skills-based education that can create a cadre of professionals who are skilled enough to pave their own way through this competitive world. With a range of specialisations offered, students can select subject areas that interest them and through the right guidance, they can carve a better life for themselves and emerge as leaders of tomorrow."
RNTU counsellors will connect with the students through various counselling apps and the University will also arrange free career counselling sessions for students who have appeared for class 12th exams.
The university has also established a Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra to provide students hands-on experience in skills. Along with this, RNTU has contributed towards the establishment of 16 start-up ventures for entrepreneur programmes with Young India. The University also has collaborations with various international universities and corporates from countries like USA, Australia, Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine and Nepal to provide an expanded network for education and skill development.
RNTU has set up 9 Centers of Excellence in Art & Culture, Earth & Space Sciences, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Advanced Material, Innovation in IoT, Science & Communication and Incubation, Entrepreneurship & Start-ups.
