Rajasthan Board Exam 2026 LIVE: RBSE Class 10, 12 exams begin at 139 centres; subjects, exam timings updates

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is set to begin the Class 10 and 12 board examinations from today, February 12, for more than 44,000 students. According to the RBSE Board Exam 2026 timetable, Class 12 candidates will appear for the Psychology paper on the first day, while Class 10 students will take the English examination.

The Rajasthan board has fixed the exam timings for both Classes 10 and 12 from 8.30 am to 11.45 am. This year, the board exams will be administered at 139 exam centres set up across the state.

The board earlier announced strict security arrangements and additional surveillance to conduct the exams “smoothly and transparently”. All students are required to carry the school ID and RBSE 10th, 12th admit card to the exam centre to be allowed entry.

Students will have to produce the RBSE admit card 2026 downloaded from the official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.

After CBSE, Rajasthan education minister Madan Dilawar announced the decision to hold the Class 10, 12 board exams twice a year, allowing regular and supplementary students to improve their scores in up to three subjects. As per the new guidelines, the first exam will be compulsory, while the second exam will be optional.

The board also tweaked the Rajasthan Class 10, 12 exam pattern. While the RBSE Class 10 question paper will be conducted for 80 marks, major subjects in Class 12 exams will also be conducted for 80 marks. The weightage for long-form answers have also been increased.
