The Rabindra Bharati University will close the online application window for MLibIsc and BEd (Special Education) on October 8.

NEW DELHI: The Rabindra Bharati University (RBU) has started the online registration process for admission to various postgraduate programmes on the official website, rbu.ac.in.
The RBU has opened the application window for two-year integrated Master in Library and Information Science (MLibISc), one-year (MLibISc), Bachelors of Education (BEd in Special Education in Visual Impairment and Inclusive Education) and BEd (Special Education in Hearing Impairment and Inclusive Education), Diploma in Tagore Literature and Postgraduate (PG) Diploma in Manuscriptology and Palaeography (PGDMP). Candidates will be able to apply for the programmes till October 8.
Fresher candidates applying for MLibISc should have secured a bachelor’s (hons) degree (10+2+3 pattern) or master’s degree (with honours) or a technical degree (of the pattern 10+2+4 or 10+2+5). Working professionals should have a bachelor’s (hons) degree and will have to present working experience as a full-time salaried staff in any government or government aided library or recognised institution. Candidates with Certificate in Library Science will have to present bachelor’s (hons) degree with honours, along with the certification.
Fresher candidates with a break of studies for more than two years would not be eligible for admission.
Students applying for the BEd (Special Education) programmes should have secured at least 50% in the bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s in Social Sciences or Humanities or Sciences. Students who have completed Bachelor in Engineering or Technology should have got at least 55% marks. Candidates of SC, ST, OBC and PH categories will get 5% relaxation in qualifying marks.
