REET 2021 exam postponed - Check new date here
The Rajasthan Government has taken the decision to postpone the REET 2021 exam. The new date for the REET 2021 exam is June 20.

NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has announced that the REET 2021 exam which was scheduled to take place on April 25 will now be conducted on June 20. The decision has been taken by the board in wake of the announcement made by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashhok Gehlot during the budget session in which he had said that the objective to postpone the exam is to give an opportunity to the economically weaker sections of the society to apply for the REET 2021 exam.
The Director of the RBSE and REET 2021 exam coordinator D P Jaroli has said that the REET application process for the economically weaker sections will begin soon.

About the REET 2021 Exam
The REET 2021 exam will be conducted in two sessions and there will be two papers for the same. Paper 1 will be for those candidates who want to teach Class 1 to Class 5 while paper 2 is for those who want to teach class 6-8. This year the REET exam was marred by controversy as earlier the Jain community had also asked for the postponement of the exam due to Mahavir Jayanti on April 25.
