NEW DELHI: Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) student, Seerat Gill has been offered a place to pursue a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

The admission process at the University of Oxford for the BCL programme is highly competitive and only applicants with an outstanding first law degree as well as proven and potential academic excellence are offered a place to pursue this course.

The BCL programme at the University of Oxford is a graduate course in law designed for students from a common law background. The programme is equivalent to a Master of Laws (LLM) programme.
Seerat Gill is a fifth-year BA LLB (Hons) student at RGNUL, Punjab. Professor Dr Anand Pawar, Vice-Chancellor and the faculty members of RGNUL congratulated Seerat on her accomplishment.

To guide students that are interested in pursuing their education outside India, RGNUL organised a webinar for 'scholarships to study abroad' recently. Scholarships such as the Rajasthan government's Rajiv Gandhi academic excellence scholarship, National overseas scholarship, MP government's foreign study scholarships among others are available to students.
Students got the chance to clear their doubts about the benefits of getting a master of law degree from a foreign university, ways to earn while studying abroad, and the types of internships that students should pursue.
