NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 12 – Ministry of Railways have announced the exam date of RPF Constable and Sub Inspector recruitment. According to official notification, the Computer Based Test (CBT) of RPF Constable and SI will begin from December 19. Eligible candidates will be issued admit card for appearing in CBT from December 9, as per their exam date.
The dates pertaining to the release of admit card as well as exam have been confirmed by the Director General/RPF through a press release. The notification reads,“Online applications to fill up as many as 8619 Constables and 1120 SIs vacancies in RPF/RPSF were invited in June, 2018. The CBT will begin from December 19. The test will be conducted group-wise simultaneously for Constable and SI.”
“The Central Recruitment Committee for SI and Constable has allotted roll numbers to all eligible candidates and this will be informed on their respective email Ids by November 16. The exam date of CBT, test centre, timing of exam with detailed instructions will be also be sent to candidates on their email IDs,” the press release reads further.
RPF constable admit card will be available online. To download the admit card, candidates will have to login with their registration number and date of birth. According to the exam pattern 2018, the CBT will consist of 120 questions which candidates have to answer within 90 minutes. Questions will be asked from General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The test will carry 120 marks.
Ministry of Railways is conducting recruitment of Constable and Sub-Inspector in Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force in Level 3. As many as 9739 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment exam.
