NEW DELHI, November 21: Ministry of Railways has released the exam dates of Sub Inspector (SI) in Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). According to the latest announcement by Ministry of Railways officials, the computer-based test (CBT) will be held group-wise on different dates. Candidates who have applied for group E and F will have to appear for CBT on December 19, 2018. CBT for group A and B candidates will be held from January 5 to 6, 2019, whereas the test for group C and D will be conducted from January 9 to 19, 2019.
The CBT for all groups will be held at different exam centres across the country in 15 different languages. There will be 120 questions in CBT where candidates will be given 90 minutes to attempt it. As per the exam pattern, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer, while 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The questions asked in CBT will be based on graduation level.
RPF SI admit card will be released 10 days before the commencement of computer-based test. Thus, the admit card of group E and F is expected to be released on December 9, 2018. Similarly, RPF SI admit card for group A and B will be released on December 27 and for group C and D, the admit card will be released on December 31, 2018.
Ministry of Railways conducts RPF SI exam for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors (SI) (both male and female) in Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force. For the selection of Sub Inspectors (SI), candidates have to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV).
