RPF SI CBT Result 2018 for all Groups Declared; 12,278 Candidates Qualify for PET, PMT and DV

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 28 : Ministry of Railways have announced the result of Computer-based test for Group A, B, C, D on February 28, 2019. The exam conducting authority has declared the result of Group E and F on February 5, 2019. As many as 12,278 candidates have qualified for Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV). The result has been released online with the name and roll number of qualified candidates group-wise at - https://si.rpfonlinereg.org/selected.html.
Out of total 12,278 candidates, 1,958 candidates have been shortlisted from Group A, 2,200 from Group B, 4,389 from Group C, 2,662 from Group D, 424 for Group E and only 645 male candidates from Group F. As per the official notification, the authorities filter candidates 10 times the number vacancies. Thus, this 10 times the total number of vacancies comes to 11,200. However, the authorities have shortlisted 12, 278 candidates for the subsequent stages of the exam. This means that 1,078 extra candidates than the announced capping have been selected for PET, PMT and DV.
Based on RPF SI result 2018 for Computer-based test, candidates are eligibile to appear for PET, PMT and DV. The exam conducting authority has also released Group A admit card for PET, PMT and DV on February 27, 2019. The admit card of other groups will be released soon. To download the admit card candidates have to enter registration number and date of birth.
Candidates who will qualify the second stage will be selected for the recruitment based on the final merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates performance in CBT and PET & PMT. The selection of the candidates for RPF SI is done on the basis of the Computer-based test followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV).
