NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Main exam 2023 has been postponed. Minister Kirodi Lal Meena announced the decision of the Cabinet to reschedule the RPSC RAS Main exam after considering the demands of the agitating candidates.

As per the earlier announcement, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) was scheduled to conduct the RPSC RAS exam 2023 on January 27, 28. However, the RAS exam date has been postponed now. As per some reports, the exam is expected to be held in June-July.

“On the lines of the Union Public Service Commission, Rajasthan Public Service Commission will also release its examination calendar," the minister Kirodi Lal Meena said. The statement said a special investigation team was formed for the prevention of paper leaks, to ensure prompt investigation in the cases registered in this regard and strict action against the culprits.

The commission informed that the answer sheets of the RPSC RAS Main examination 2021 will be made available for the candidates on the official website from February 20 to May 31.

The RPSC RAS prelims result 2023 was declared in October. A total of 905 vacancies will be filled through the RAS recruitment. Of which, 424 posts are for state services and 481 are for subordinate services.

The prelims question paper had five options for each question and candidates had to darken the right answer in the OMR sheet. Those who have not darkened any of the five circles in more than 10% questions have been disqualified.
