NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Statistical Officer notification is out for a total of 72 posts. Interested candidates will be able to apply for the Rajasthan Statistical Officer exam 2023 from September 15 through the official website, rajasthan.gov.in.

Eligible candidates will be able to apply online by October 14. RPSC has set the age criteria for the Statistical Officer to be between 21 and 40 years. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in either economics, statistics, or mathematics with a paper in statistics or commerce with statistics.

Candidates having MSc agriculture statistics and RS-CIT course certificates are also eligible. Students must also possess work experience of one year and must know Rajasthani culture.

Candidates belonging to the general category and other state candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600 while the OBC, BC, SC, and ST categories candidates will have to pay Rs 400. In case the candidates make corrections after the correction window opens, they will have to pay a correction charge of Rs 500 additionally.

The Statistical Officer exam 2023 will be conducted for a duration of two hours and thirty minutes. The exam will have a total of 150 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each. There will be 40 questions from general knowledge of Rajasthan and 110 questions from the related subject. There will be a negative marking in the exam of one-third mark for every wrong answer.
