RRB Bangalore Group D Result, Cut off and Scorecard 2018 Released for CBT; 7765 Candidates Shortlisted for PET

NEW DELHI, MARCH 5: Railway Recruitment Board, Bangalore has released the result of RRB Group D Computer Based Test (CBT) in the online mode. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website - http://www.rrbbnc.gov.in/

RRB Bangalore Group D result 2018 for CBT has been declared as a PDF file containing the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Additionally, candidates can also check their scores and qualifying status for the exam stage by entering user ID and date of birth in the scorecard link which has been released along with the result.

The scorecard contains name of candidate, registration number, roll number, raw score, pro-rated marks, normalised score, qualifying status, and posts preference, name of RRB region candidate have applied to and more.

After checking the scorecard, candidates should download and save copy of the scorecard for future reference. Candidates can check the scorecard till March 15, 2019.

As per the result file, 7765 candidates have been selected to appear for PET stage of the recruitment examination.

Since the number of vacancies announced for the RRB region is 2293, therefore, candidates roughly three times the number of total vacancies have been shortlisted to appear for the next stage of the exam.

The Board has also published the cut off of the exam stage along with the result. The cut off is the marks that have been secured by the last qualified candidate who has qualified the online test.
Therefore, candidates obtaining equal to or more than the prescribed cut off in the first stage of the exam have been selected to participate in the second stage of the exam, PET.

For CBT, candidates belonging to unreserved categories have recorded the highest cutoff – 62.01 while the lowest cut off have been registered by ST category candidates at 48.78.

RRB Group D exam is conducted to recruit candidates for various posts available under Group D. Some of the posts that are considered under Group D exam are Assistant Pointsman, Gatemen, Helpers, Hospital Attendants, Porters, Track Maintainer in Indian Railways. The recruitment exam is conducted in three stages - CBT, PET and Document Verification. The PET exam is likely to be held in the third or fourth week of March 2019.
