The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has rescheduled the Non-Technical Popular Categories (RRB NTPC) stage 1 graduate-level exam 2025 for specific shifts at two centres in Jharkhand. The RRB NTPC 2025 stage 1 exams scheduled on June 16 in Ranchi and June 19 in Hazaribagh have been rescheduled for select candidates.
According to official notices, the RRB NTPC Computer Based Test (CBT-1) held on June 16, 2025, during the third shift at venue code 8320 at iON Digital Zone iDZ in Tupudana, Ranchi, has been rescheduled for LAB-A1 and A2 on LAN1, excluding those who have already appeared for the exam. Similarly, the test scheduled for June 19, 2025, during the first shift at venue code 8566 at iON Digital Zone iDZ in Hazaribagh has also been rescheduled.
“The first stage Computer Based Test against CEN-05/2024 scheduled on 19.06.2025 (Shift-1) at Venue Code- 8566 (iON Digital Zone iDZ, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand) has been rescheduled,” the official notice said. Earlier, the board had issued a notice announcing the rescheduling of the RRB NTPC 2025 exam, conducted on June 5 in shift 2 at venue code 40923, Aadarsh Pariksha Kendra in Gaya.
Candidates will be informed of the new date and time for their examinations through SMS and email. The board informed that the same link earlier shared with candidates will be used to access the revised exam city information, e-call letters, and travelling authority documents for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
The RRB recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 8,113 vacancies for various graduate-level posts, including station master, goods train manager, and commercial-cum-ticket clerk. The board has also recently issued the revised cut-off marks for different posts. The RRB NTPC 2025 graduate-level exam started on June 5 and is scheduled to continue till June 24.
Meanwhile, a video allegedly showing open cheating at the Tupudana exam centre has surfaced online, raising concerns about the conduct of the RRB NTPC 2025 exam. The footage shows a group of candidates inside the exam hall—some writing the test while others are seen recording videos.
Many candidates have used the video to express concerns over the conduct of the exam and have demanded action against those responsible. Referring to the footage, one user wrote that, “Exposed! Open Cheating in #RRB_NTPC exams at Tupudana (Ranchi) centre! Students' futures at stake! Share widely to hold authorities accountable!”.
A few users also questioned the fairness in the recruitment process and urged for action to protect the interests of genuine candidates. Another post demanded cancellation of all shifts on June 18 and 19, saying, "Sir kindly cancel 18th and 19th all the shifts #RRB_NTPC #rrbntpcexam."
“Income generation in Railways comes largely from specific regions of the country. This issue should be treated as a priority, as the future of many candidates is at stake and deserving candidates are being overlooked,” read another post. Authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the cheating allegations.
