Schools may be reopened after August: Education Minster

NEW DELHI - Human Resource Development Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has said that the schools may be opened after August 2020, as per the Timesnownews report. Schools and Colleges are closed from March 16, 2020, across the nation. But online classes are going on. Around 33 crore students are waiting for the reopening of schools.

The final decision regarding reopening schools will be made after assessing the prevailing conditions. The report also says that a new session in Universities will also be started after August 2020. At present, no confirmed date has been set for schools reopening.

The pending exams of CBSE Class 10 and 12 will be held from July 1 to 15, 2020. The result for the previously held and to be held exams will be released by August 15, 2020. Due to coronavirus pandemic, the board has announced that CBSE Class 10, 12 students with special needs can skip remaining board exams.
