SNAP 2019 commences, test centre located in remote areas

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 15: Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2019 commenced at 2 PM. Candidates were not permitted to enter the exam centre after 2.10 PM. While entering the exam centre candidates had to submit their admit card for verification process and had to present any Government ID proof. Students who came without the hall ticket or carried black and white printout of the admit card were not permitted to enter the exam hall. At the test centre, parents and students expressed their displeasure over the location of the test centre as they found it difficult to locate. There was hardly any arrangement for proper parking.

Guidelines followed by the candidates inside the examination hall

• Candidates got the coloured printout of the SNAP 2019 admit card.

• Students checked for their seat number mentioned on their SNAP admit card.

• No parents or relatives were allowed to enter the examination centre.

• Students were not allowed to carry the following items inside the exam centre:

  • Phone

  • Smart devices

  • Bag

  • Calculator

  • Food

• Centres did not provide any provision for waiting room or lockers.

• Students were only allowed to carry the admit card and blue/black ball point pen inside the examination hall.

• Upon entering the examination hall students went through check in procedure which includes biometric (fingerprint and image) data capture.

• Exam instructions are being read by the invigilator.

• Students will not be allowed to switch their workstations.

• No bio-breaks are allowed in between the examination.
