SPJIMR invites applications for PGPDM programme; apply by June 30

NEW DELHI: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) invites applications for its Post Graduate Programme in Development Management (PGPDM) for the Class of 2025 (PGPDM Batch 24). The application process is underway and the last date to fill out the application form is June 30.

The PGPDM is a 12-month programme designed for professionals working in or aspiring to work within the social sector. This includes individuals from Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), foundations, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) departments, government Social Welfare departments, and social enterprises.

As per the institute, this development management programme has received international accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The programme is scheduled to commence on August 2, 2024.

The programme will have approximately 30 courses, spread across six contact periods, each spanning two weeks. The first, third, and final contact periods take place at the SPJIMR Mumbai campus, while the remaining three will be conducted online, the institute said.

Eligibility

Candidates applying for the PGPDM should hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any discipline. Candidates should also possess at least two years of relevant full-time work experience, demonstrate basic computer proficiency, and be comfortable with English.

In a message to aspirants, the chairperson of PGPDM, Tanojkumar Meshram, said, “PGPDM offers a life-transforming experience to the students who come from diverse sections of the society and multiple geographies across India with a common goal to work for a social change.”

“Every course and the component of the programme is designed in such a way that it helps students to immediately apply the learnings in their practice world and transform themselves, their organisations and their communities,” he further said.
