SRMJEEE Phase 1 Exam 2026 Today: Remote-proctored online test requirements, guidelines

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) will conduct the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE 2026) phase 1 exam today, April 24, in a remote-proctored online mode (RPOM) test. Candidates are required to log in to the exam using the details provided in the SRMJEEE admit card.

SRM University will conduct the SRMJEEE Phase 1 exam from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates must log in at least one hour before the exam to upload a photo of themselves and their ID proof.

As per the schedule, the SRMJEEE Phase 1 exams 2026 will be held from April 24 to 29, Phase 2 from June 10 to 15, and Phase 3 from July 4 to 5.

The SRMJEEE exam 2026 will be taken online from home, but a proctor and an AI system will monitor all activities remotely.

SRMJEEE 2026: RPOM requirements

Candidates taking the SRMJEEE phase 1 exam must ensure their system meets the required setup and configuration.

• Use a computer with Windows 8 or higher (15-inch monitor, Intel i3 4th Gen or above, 4 GB RAM, and 2 GB free space)
• Or a Mac with macOS 10.14 Mojave or higher (at least 80 GB storage)
• The system must have a keyboard, mouse, webcam, and microphone
• Remove any screen-sharing software from the device before the exam

SRMJEEE 2026 exam day guidelines

Candidates should note these points before appearing for the SRMJEEE exam.

• Candidates cannot take the SRMJEEE exam on mobile phones or tablets. They should use a desktop or laptop with a stable internet connection of at least 1 Mbps.
• If using a mobile hotspot, make sure there is enough data before the exam starts
• The exam duration is 150 minutes; log in at least 60 minutes early to upload a photo and read instructions
• No re-exam will be given if the test is interrupted due to poor or no internet
• Log in using the details (password) given in the admit card
• You cannot end the exam early, even if you finish
• You cannot leave the exam during the first 120 minutes

The SRMJEEE admit card for phase 1 is used as the password to log in for the BTech exam. It is issued after slot booking. The slot booking was open from April 18 to 20, and the admit card with the password was sent to candidates by email.
