NEW DELHI: The State Selection Board (SSB) Odisha will close the registration window for the recruitment of junior assistants posts today, April 15, 2024. Eligible candidates should fill out the SSB Odisha junior assistant application form by visiting the official website, ssbodisha.ac.in.

The Odisha SSB recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 108 junior assistants in Odisha University of health sciences, Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) and Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.

Candidates from unreserved (UR), socially and economically backward classes (SEBC) categories are required to pay Rs 500 to register for the exam. Candidates belonging to the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with disabilities (PwD) category are required to pay a fee of Rs 200.

Candidates age should be 21 years old to 38 years old as of January 1, 2024. The upper age limit is relaxed for reserved category candidates. Additionally, candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Candidates should have adequate knowledge of basic computer skills.

SSB Odisha Junior Assistant: Exam pattern

The SSB Odisha junior assistant exam carries two sections including a written test and a computer skill test. Candidates will get two and a half hours to complete the written test.

Candidates will get two marks for each correct answer, while 0.50 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The subject-wise marks distribution is given in the table below.

Candidates from unreserved categories are required to score a minimum of 40%, whereas candidates from the SC, ST, SEBC, and PwD categories should score a minimum of 30% to qualify the exam.
