SSC CGL 2024 final results declared for 219 withheld candidates at ssc.gov.in

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) final results 2024 for 219 out of 1,267 withheld candidates. The SSC CGL result 2024 was declared on March 12 but some candidates' results were held back for ‘various reasons’. The SSC CGL results 2024 can be accessed by visiting the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The SSC CGL 2024 selection process consists of tier 1, tier 2, document verification, and skill tests. SSC CGL tier 1 serves as a qualifying round, and candidates who clear it proceed to tier 2. Based on merit and cut-offs, candidates are shortlisted for the final selection, which includes document verification and specific skill tests like Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) or Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) for certain posts.
The SSC CGL tier 1 result 2024 was announced on December 5 and the tier 2 exam was conducted on January 18, 19, 20, and 31, 2025.

SSC has provided detailed category-wise cut-off marks for tier 2 evaluation. The cut-offs for different categories are as follows:

A total of 88,051 candidates have progressed based on their performance in the Tier 2 exam. Candidates who submitted their option-cum-preference form online were considered for the final selection. The SSC notice emphasized that only those candidates who qualified in Section-I and Section-II of Tier 2 and submitted their preferences were included in the further selection process.
SSC CGL answer key and objection window
The SSC CGL 2024 answer key was out on February 21. Candidates could raise objections against the SSC CGL answer key 2024 till January 24. As per SSC CGL schedule, the last date to fill the option-cum-preference form was February 27. While SSC CGL results for 219 candidates have been declared, the final status of the remaining withheld candidates is yet to be announced.
