SSC CGL tier-1 answer key out at ssc.nic.in; direct download link

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission has uploaded the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL) tier-1 answer key 2023 along with the candidates’ response sheet. Candidates who appeared in the SSC CGL tier-1 exam 2023 conducted from July 14 to July 27 will be able to download the answer key from the official website, ssc.nic.in.

The commission informed that candidates can challenge the answer key till 5 PM on August 4. The candidates will have to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs 100 per response challenged. After reviewing the objections raised by the candidates, the commission will publish the SSC CGL final answer key 2023 of tier-1 exam after August 4. The final answer key issued by the commission will be considered final.

The marks secured by the candidates in the SSC CGL tier-1 exam 2023 will be normalised to shortlist candidates for the SSC CGL tier-2 examination.

The SSC conducted the CGL examination 2023 in online mode. The question paper had 100 questions which were divided into four sections: general intelligence and reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language, and general awareness. The candidates will be awarded two marks for every correct answer while .5 marks will be deducted for wrong answer.

The commission is conducting the exam to fill as many as 10,000 group B and C posts in the ministries and departments of the government of India.

• Aspirants can follow the steps given below to download the answer key and their response key:
• Visit the SSC official website, ssc.nic.in.
• Click on the SSC CGL answer key 2023 download link for tier-1 on the homepage.
• Enter your roll number and password generated during the registration process and submit.
• The SSC CGL tier-1 response key and answer key will be displayed.
• Download the provisional answer key for future reference.
