NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 11: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is conducting SSC CGL Tier II exam from September 11 to 13, 2019. The exam is being conducted across various exam cities in India in different shifts. Only those candidates who have qualified in tier I exam are eligibile to appear for tier II exam.
As per the exam pattern, the tier II exam comprises of Paper 1 and 2 is common for all the posts whereas, for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer, candidates have to appear for Paper 3 and 4. There is also a scheme of negative marking where 0.50 marks are deducted in Paper 1, 3, 4 whereas 0.25 marks are deducted for Paper 2.
To appear for SSC CGL tier-II exam, candidates have been issued admit card on the regional websites of SSC. Candidates are able to to download admit card till the day of examination.
Important Instruction for SSC CGL 2018 Tier II exam.
On the day of the examination, candidates need to carry admit card and original photo identity card with date of birth.
In case if the date of birth does match as prescribed in the photo identity card, candidates must carry an original additional certificate as proof.
No candidates will be allowed to appear for SSC CGL 2018 tier-II exam if the date of birth does not match to the admit card and photo - identity proof or certificate brought by the candidates.
SSC CGL exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates to Group B and C post in the Ministries/Departments/Organizations in the Government of India. The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of four stages - tier I, II, III, and IV.
