SSC CHSL application form 2018 & notification released on March 5; apply before April 5

NEW DELHI, March 5: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the application form of SSC CHSL 2018 on March 5. The application form is available in online mode and candidates can fill SSC CHSL application form 2018 till April 5, which is the last date for application submission. Apart from the application form, the authority has also released the notification of Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2018 on March 5. However, the number of vacancies for the exam has not been announced by SSC for different posts. 

The application fee for the exam can be paid and challan generated till April 7, 2019. However, the last date for fee payment through challan is April 9. 

To apply for SSC CHSL, candidates must be between 18 to 27 years and must have passed class 12/ HSC. Candidates have to fill SSC CHSL application form 2018 in two parts - part I and II. In part I of SSC CHSL application form, candidates have to first register by filling the basic details. In part II candidates will have to pay the requisite fee, upload scanned photograph (4 kb to 12kb) and signature (1 kb to 12 kb).

General and OBC candidates will have to pay Rs. 100 for the application fee whereas women from all categories, SC, ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment. After the payment of application fee, candidates must keep a printout of application form for future references. 

SSC will issue the admit card to only those candidates whose application form will be accepted by the commission. The tier 1 exam of SSC CHSL 2019 is scheduled to be conducted from July 1 to 26, 2019, while the Tier II exam would be held on September 29, 2019. SSC conducts CHSL exam for the recruitment of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations.
