The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has begun the registration process for the SSC Combined Hindi Translator (CHT) 2025. Eligible candidates will be able to fill out the SSC CHT application form 2025 till June 26 through the official website at ssc.gov.in.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 437 Group ‘B’ non-gazetted posts, including junior Hindi translator, junior translation officer, junior translator, senior Hindi translator. The commission will conduct the SSC CHT 2025 exam on August 12, 2025, in computer-based mode. The window for application form correction and payment of correction charges will be open on July 1 and July 2.

While filling out the application form, candidates should opt for Aadhaar-based authentication as per the Aadhaar policy published on the commission’s website. Applications from candidates who use Aadhaar authentication will not be rejected due to their photograph or signature not meeting the prescribed standards. Candidates can also apply for the SSC Combined Hindi Translator 2025 exam through the 'mySSC app'.

“Aadhaar authentication has been implemented for the current Examination. All candidates have the option to authenticate themselves using their Aadhaar Number at the time of One Time Registration (OTR), while filling up the online application form for examination. Candidates who do not want to authenticate themselves through the Aadhaar-based system are required to upload the prescribed documents for completing their One Time Registration (OTR,” the official notice said.

To register for the SSC CHT 2025 exam, candidates from the General category are required to pay a fee of Rs 100. However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and ex-servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee. The last date to pay the SSC Combined Hindi Translator 2025 registration fee is June 27.

SSC JHT 2025 Recruitment: Age limit

The age limit for the post of sub-inspector (Hindi translator) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is 18 years old to 30 years old as on the closing date for receiving applications. Candidates should have been born between June 25, 1995, and June 26, 2007, to be eligible for this post. For all other posts, the crucial date for age calculation is August 1, 2025. The age limit for these posts is also 18 years old to 30 years old as on August 1, 2025.

SSC JHT 2025: Selection process

The commission will select eligible candidates based on their performance across four stages. The first stage is the written exam (Tier I), followed by the second stage, a subjective written exam (Tier II). Candidates who clear these stages will undergo document verification, which constitutes the third stage. Finally, the selection process concludes with a medical examination as the fourth stage.

Candidates should meet the minimum qualifying marks in the SSC JHT Tier I computer-based test (CBT) to be eligible for shortlisting to the next stage, which is the Tier II exam. The minimum qualifying marks required to pass are Rs 30 per cent for unreserved candidates, Rs 25 per cent for candidates in the Other Backwards Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories, and Rs 20 per cent for all other categories.
