SSC CPO 2018 Exam for Paper 2 Conducted; Check Details Here
NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 27: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the exam for the Central Police Organisation (CPO) today. The SSC CPO 2018 was conducted in online mode for Paper 2. Candidates who carried admit card along with a valid photo ID were given a chance to appear in the examination. SSC CPO 2018 held to recruit Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs, Sub Inspector (Executive) - (Male/ Female) in Delhi Police and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Executive) in CISF. The exam was conducted on 102 centres spread across major states and UTs of India. Candidates who will qualify the Paper 2 CBE will be eligible to appear in the Medical round.
SSC CPO Paper 2 is of English Language and Comprehension and the questions will test candidates understanding and knowledge of English Language. The question paper will cover topics like - Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms etc.
Candidates qualifying Paper 2 will have to undergo the medical round. If found fit in the medical round they will be called for the document verification, post the document verification, the position will be allotted to the suitable candidates.
The selection of the candidates to the different posts will be done on the basis marks obtained by the candidates Paper-I and Paper-II.
Based on the final merit list candidates will be selected for the preferred posts they have applied for.
Earlier, SSC announced the result of PET and PST on September 9, 2019. A total of 4750 candidates qualified out of which 332 were female and 4418 were male candidates.
SSC CPO 2018 is being conducted to fill 1557 vacancies.
