NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the SSC CPO registration window today, March 28. Eligible candidates can fill out the SSC CPO 2024 application form through the official website ssc.gov.in. The SSC CPO exam is scheduled to be held on May 9, 10, and 13.

As part of the application process, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and ex-servicemen (ESM) categories are exempt from paying any application fee to register for the exam.

As per the official schedule, the last date to pay the SSC CPO 2024 application fee is tomorrow, March 29. The SSC CPO 2024 application form correction window will be open for two days on March 30 and 31.

The SSC recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 4,187 posts. Among these, 125 posts are reserved for male Sub-Inspectors (SIs) in Delhi Police, 61 for female SI candidates in Delhi Police, and the remaining 4,001 positions are allocated for SI candidates within Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).

SSC CPO Recruitment 2024: Selection process

The SSC CPO 2024 selection process includes four stages. In the first stage, candidates will write in an objective-type written exam. Those who qualify will go through the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

After that, a descriptive exam (paper 2) is conducted in stage three. After clearing the paper 2 examination, candidates undergo a medical test conducted by medical officers from the CAPFs, central or state government hospitals.
