NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 13: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the revised result and cut off of SSC GD Constable on September 12. Earlier, SSC GD Constable 2018 result for computer-based examination was declared on June 20, 2019, in which 5,34,052 candidates qualified. In the revised result a total of 5,35,169 candidates have qualified. Candidates can check SSC GD Constable result PDF on the official website - ssc.nic.in.

As per the revised result of SSC GD Constable 2018, out of the qualified candidates, 68,781 candidates are female while 4,66,388 candidates are male. The result has been revised due to the revision of final answer keys of various shifts of the exam. Candidates who were not shortlisted earlier will now be issued SSC GD Constable admit card for PET/PST.

The exam body has mentioned in their notice that individual marks of the candidates will be available on their website shortly.

SSC GD Constable Result 2018 Important Points

  • The result has been published in PDF format area-wise and separately for male and female candidates

  • 1,117 more candidates have been qualified as per the new result

  • Total 9 PDF files have been published

  • List-1 to 7 mentions names and roll numbers of candidates who were earlier not qualified but now have qualified

  • List-8 and List-9 includes names of candidates who qualified earlier but have not qualified as per the new result and cut off

This year 58,373 vacancies have been announced for the recruitment of SSC GD Constable. Out of total vacancies, 50,066 vacancies are available for male candidates and 8,307 for female candidates. SSC GD Constable exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates to BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifles. On final qualification candidates will be posted in General District Area, Border District Area and Naxal/Militancy affected District Area.
