NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued General-Duty (GD) constable admit card 2024 for Madhya Pradesh region and Western region. Candidates appearing for the recruitment examination can download the SSC GD constable admit card 2024 through the official website, ssc.nic.in.

The commission will conduct the recruitment examination on February 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, March 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, and 12 for various GD constable positions in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) positions in the Assam Rifles Examination 2024.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 26,146 GD constable vacancies in the department. Candidates can use their login details such as registration number and date of birth to access the SSC GD constable admit card 2024.

SSC GD Constable 2024: Selection process

The SSC GD constable selection process involves four primary stages: written exam, physical exam stage, medical exam followed by document verification.

The SSC GD constable exam will be held online in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination will assess candidates' knowledge, their critical thinking abilities, and fundamental mathematical skills. The exam will comprise of 200 questions to be completed in 2 hours duration.

Candidates who qualify the CBT will proceed with the physical tests. These test evaluations focus on assessing candidates' physical fitness and strength. PET involves a series of physical activities, including running, long jump, and high jump, to check candidate's endurance. Meanwhile, PST evaluates specific physical standards such as height, weight and chest size.

Upon clearing the PET and PST, candidates undergo a thorough medical examination. After medical examination, the final stage is document verification. This stage reviews candidates’ original documents, including school certificates to authenticate their validity.
