NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 14: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the tentative answer key of SSC JE 2018 Paper-I which was conducted on September 23 and 27, 2019. Candidates can check the answer key on the official website of SSC. Candidates have to log in using their roll number and password in order to access the answer key. Candidates will also be able to check their response sheet and question papers along with the answer key.

In case of incorrect answers in SSC JE answer key or if the answers provided are not satisfactory, candidates can raise objections through the same answer key link from October 14 to 17, 2019. Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 100 per question to make challenges against the answer key.
How to check SSC JE 2018 Answer Key for Paper-I?
Follow the steps given below to check the answer key -
Go to the official website - ssc.nic.in.
Click on the ‘Answer Key’ button on the menu bar
Click on the Junior Engineer Tentative Answer Key 2018 link
A notice will open, click on the link provided on the bottom of the notice
Select ‘Click Here’ in the window that opens
Enter User ID (roll number) and password in the login window that opens
A revised answer key of SSC JE 2018 Paper-I will be released after the challenges posed have been taken into consideration. Candidates will not be able to make any further objections on the final answer key.
The result of SSC JE 2018 Paper-I will be declared after the final answer key has been released. Candidates shortlisted in this result will be eligible to appear for Paper-II which is likely to be conducted on December 29, 2019.
SSC JE examination is conducted for the recruitment of candidates at the posts of Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) in various central government departments. SSC JE 2018 exam is being conducted for a total of 1601 vacancies.
