NEW DELHI, AUGUST 14: The notification of SSC JE 2019 has been released by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on August 13. Candidates can apply for SSC JE 2019 exam from August 13 to September 12. The exam date of SSC JE 2019 Paper 1 computer based examination will be announced by the Commission soon.

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria of SSC JE 2019 before filling the application form. As per SSC JE eligibility criteria, aspirants of the age 18 to 32 years as on January 1, 2020 can apply. However, there is a relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved category candidates. All aspiring candidates must have a degree and/ or diploma in engineering from a recognised university to be eligible to apply for SSC JE 2019.
Candidates have to visit the official website - ssc.nic.in . Candidates first have to register on the official website and then they can proceed to fill the application form of SSC JE in the ‘Apply’ section of the website. Follow the steps given below to apply for SSC JE 2019.
1. Click on the official link provided above.
2. Click on the ‘new user’ option (if applicable)
3. Enter basic details after which registration ID and password is generated
4. Login using the registration and password to proceed further
5. Pay the application fee, select exam centre, etc.
6. Preview the details entered and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
SSC JE exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the post of Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Quantity Surveying and Contract) in various central government departments.
