NEW DELHI, JANUARY 30: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the result for Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak examination held on November 26, 2019. The result has been announced in the form of PDF at ssc.nic.in. The result PDF contains the roll numbers and categories of only the qualified candidates.

As per the result, a total of 1977 candidates have qualified for paper-II wherein 302 candidates are from unreserved category, 389 from SC category, 179 candidates are ST, while 738, 283, and 86 candidates have qualified from OBC, EWS and PWD categories respectively.

How to Check SSC JHT 2019 Result?

Follow the steps given below to check the result of SSC JHT result -

Step 1: Got to the official website - ssc.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘Result’ button on the menu bar

Step 3: Click on the ‘JHT’ tab

Step 4: Click on the result link provided against ‘Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination 2019 - List of the Candidates Qualified in Paper-I for Appearing in Paper-II’

Step 5: SSC JHT result PDF will open

Step 6: Search your name or roll number

Step 7: Download and save the result PDF for future references

Along with the declaration of the result, the authorities have also released the category wise cut off marks. As per the cut off scores, the cut off for the general category is 128.75 while for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS category, it is 105.25, 94.00, 114 and 104.75 respectively.

The category-wise details of the qualified candidates are listed in the table. However, reserved candidates applying as unreserved have been shown under their respective categories only.

All those candidates who have qualified in paper I will now have to take paper II. The commission will conduct the paper II exam on February 16, 2020. It is to be noted that paper II of SSC JHT will be descriptive in nature. The details of exam centres for paper II will be provided in the admit cards of SSC JHT. The admit cards of paper II will be uploaded at the websites of the respective regional offices of SSC.

Candidates qualified in paper II will be called for document verification. The final merit will be based on the overall performance in paper I and paper II and the preference of posts.

As per the statistics, there were a total of 12359 candidates who appeared for paper I for the 2019 exam wherein only 1977 candidates could pass. However, in the exam conducted in 2018, a total of 15573 candidates appeared in paper I but only 2041 candidates could make it to paper II.
