SSC JHT Result 2018 Released; 2041 Candidates Qualify for Paper 2

NEW DELHI, MARCH 23: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the result of SSC JHT 2018 paper 1 result. As many as 2041 candidates have qualified in paper 1, held on January 13, 2019. SSC JHT result is available online on the official website - To check the result of paper 1, candidates have to download the result pdf.

The result pdf of SSC JHT have the roll numbers, names and category of the qualified candidates. Along with the result the commission has also released the cut off of SSC JHT. The provisional answer key SSC JHT was released on January 13, 2019. Candidates were able to challenge the answer key between February 28 to March 2, 2019 (6 pm).

Paper 1 had two subjects - General Hindi and General English conducted for 100 marks. There were 100 questions asked in the test where 0.25 marks were deducted for every wrong answer. Selected candidates in paper 1 are eligible to appear for paper 2 exam which will be held on May 26, 2019.

Paper 2 of SSC JHT will be descriptive in nature which will be designed to check candidates’ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly. The total marks allotted to paper 2 will be 200. Those candidates who will qualify the paper 2 will have to appear for document verification (DV). Based on marks scored by candidates in paper 1 and 2 who will be selected in DV, the commission will release the final merit list.

SSC JHT is conducted for the recruitment of candidates in the post of Senior Hindi Translator, Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, and Hindi Pradhyapak in ministries/departments.
