SSC Stenographer 2023: Candidates who fail to submit post preferences will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list.
NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has activated the link to submit option-cum-preference for Stenographer grade C, D posts. Candidates who appeared in the skill test can submit their preferences for posts through their respective candidate login at the commission's official website, ssc.nic.in.

SSC stenographer grade C, D option-cum-preference tab for all posts will remain active till February 2, 2024.
Candidates who fail to fill preference form will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list. Any grievance received in this regard in any form like post, fax, email, by hand, etc. shall not be entertained by the commission and will be rejected.
"Candidates may please also note that Option-cum-Preference can be revised only during the aforesaid period and the Option-cum-Preference last submitted by the candidate will be treated as final," reads the official notification.
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates should prioritise only the positions that are regarded as appropriate for their disability. The allocation of posts will follow the rules mentioned in the examination notice, based on 'merit-cum-preference of postings.' If a PwBD candidate is chosen for a position that is not deemed acceptable for their disability, the commission reserves the right to reject their application.

Steps to fill SSC stenographer grade C, D option-cum-preference form
Candidates can follow the steps outlined below to submit their option-cum-preference for the posts.

Visit the SSC official website, ssc.nic.in

On the homepage, login by using the username and password.

Now look for the ‘Option Cum Preference Form’ tab.

Click on it and select the exam name and exam year.

Fill the details, save and submit the form.

Download the form and get its printout for further reference.
