NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 21: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the recruitment notification and application form of SSC Stenographer 2019 examination. Candidates will be able to apply online till October 18, 2019, on the official website - ssc.nic.in . SSC Stenographer 2019 computer based examination is scheduled to be conducted from May 5 to 7, 2020. Filling the application form of SSC Stenographer recruitment is a two-part process. Candidates can see important instructions related to the online application in SSC Stenographer notification 2019. Candidates can proceed to fill SSC Stenographer application form after doing one time registration on the Commission’s website. Candidates can only change the basic details filled in one time registration twice. All the basic details like parents’ name, date of birth, etc. must match from the details on the matriculation certificate or else candidature may get cancelled.

Candidates must read the eligibility criteria of SSC Stenographer before applying for the exam. Successful applicants will be issued SSC stenographer admit card for computer based examination.
Computer based exam of SSC Stenographer 2019 will include three sections - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension. The exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks and candidates will have to attempt all the sections in a composite duration of 2 hours. Candidates who qualify this exam will be called to appear for SSC Stenographer skill test.
SSC Stenographer recruitment exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates at the post of post of Stenographer Grade C and D (Non-Gazetted) in central government departments/ministries as well as their subordinate offices in different states and Union Territories.
