Talking about the country’s goal to welcome 30,000 Indian students by the year 2030, Lenain stated “many” reasons for Indian students to visit France including tuition fees which is 2,700 euros per year for bachelor’s degree and 3,700 euros for master’s degree.

About introducing international classes, the ambassador informed that at present, almost 95% of Indian students opt for one of the English-taught programmes offered by colleges and universities. The country will offer specialised programmes wherein Indian students will get training in French language and other disciplines to help them with their studies and adapt to the French environment.

France offers a two-year post-study work visa for post-graduates with a French Master’s degree, Lenain further said. He advised students looking for study visas to go through the Etudes en France procedure monitored by Campus France.
