Symbiosis School of Economics 2021 admission begins for UG and PG programmes

NEW DELHI: Symbiosis School of Economics has started the admissions process for its full time B.Sc (Economics) Hons. and M.Sc (Economics) programmes for the academic year 2021-22. Candidates can fill up the Symbiosis School of Economics application form for B.Sc (Economics) Hons. and M.Sc (Economics) till June 4 and June 21, respectively.

Candidates should know that the application process is completely online. Before applying for the admission, candidates should check the eligibility criteria set by the university. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of B.Sc (Economics) Honours and M.Sc (Economics) can fill the application form for admission.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for B.Sc (Economics) Hons., candidates must have completed class 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks (General category) and 45% Marks (For SC/ST). They also need to pass the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2021.

Candidates who have studied either Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Physics as a subject at the undergraduate level can apply for admission to M.Sc (Economics). They must have secured at least 50% marks (For general category) and 45% marks (For SC/ST) at graduation level.

Selection Process

The admission to B.Sc (Economics) Hons. will be conducted through the Symbiosis Entrance Test which will be held on June 27. The result of SET for B.Sc (Economics) Hons. will be announced on July 8. After the announcement of the result, the shortlist for personal interaction will be declared on July 12.

The personal interaction will be conducted from July 19 to 23 and July 26 to 30 in online mode. The first merit list for B.Sc (Economics) Hons. will be released on August 7. The last to date pay the admission fee against the first merit list is August 13.

Admission to M.Sc (Economics) is done based on personal interaction (PI) and writing ability test (WAT) in online mode. The list of selected candidates for writing ability test (WAT) and personal interview (PI) will be announced on June 26. The writing ability test and personal interaction will be conducted on July 1, 2 and 3.

The first merit list for M.Sc (Economics) will be announced on July 9. Candidates can pay the admission fee against the first merit list till July 16.
