Students were not allowed to appear for the public examination without a TN 10th hall ticket. Students are given 10 minutes to read the question paper from 10 am to 10:10 am, followed by a five-minute period from 10:10 am to 10:15 am to verify their details. The exam started at 10:15 am and ended at 1:15 pm.
Candidates must be seated in their allotted spots and follow the instructions of the invigilators during the examination. They are not allowed to carry mobile phones, electronic gadgets, or any unauthorised materials inside the examination hall.
As per the teachers and students, the TN Class 10 English paper was moderate in difficulty. Most questions were from the prescribed syllabus, including reading comprehension, grammar, and literature. Students said the TN 10th English paper was manageable, though a few grammar and literature questions required careful reading.
To pass the TN SSLC board exams, students must score at least 35 marks out of 100 in each subject. In subjects with practical components, students must obtain a minimum of 20 marks out of 75 in theory and 15 out of 25 in practical or internal assessment to be considered as having passed in the subject.
