The Directorate of General Education, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE), will conduct the Tamil Nadu Class 10 English exam 2026 tomorrow, March 16, 202,6 from 10 am to 1.15 pm across the state.

Students will be given 10 minutes to read the question paper from 10 am to 10:10 am, followed by a five-minute period from 10:10 am to 10:15 am to verify their details. The exam will start at 10:15 am and end at 1:15 pm.
Candidates must be seated in their allotted spots and follow the instructions by the invigilators during the examination. They are not allowed to carry mobile phones, electronic gadgets, or any unauthorised materials inside the examination hall.
After the exam concludes, teachers and subject experts are expected to share a detailed analysis of the Tamil Nadu SSLC 2026 English question paper. The review will include the overall difficulty level of the exam, key questions asked, and trends observed across different sections.
To pass the TN SSLC board exams, students must score at least 35 marks out of 100 in each subject. In subjects with practical components, students must obtain a minimum of 20 marks out of 75 in theory and 15 out of 25 in practical or internal assessment to be considered as having passed in the subject.
