Tamil Nadu Class 10 Board Exam 2026 LIVE: English test tomorrow; question paper analysis, timings, pattern

The Directorate of Government Education, Tamil Nadu, will conduct the TN Class 10th English examination today from 10 am to 1:15 pm.

The TN Class 10 English board exam 2026 will be held tomorrow, March 16, as per the official datesheet released by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu.

The TN Class 10 English exam 2026 is a 100-mark paper focusing on vocabulary, short answers, paragraphs, and long answers. The English paper is categorised into four parts: Part I (14 marks, 1-mark questions), Part II (20 marks, 2-mark questions), Part III (50 marks, 5-mark questions), and Part IV (16 marks, 8-mark questions).

The Tamil Nadu Class 10 English exam 2026 will be conducted from 10 am to 1:15 pm across the state, including 15 minutes for reading time.

• Theory requirement: At least 20 marks out of 75 in the written exam.
• Practical requirement: Minimum 15 marks out of 25 in practical/internal assessment subjects.
