NEW DELHI: Anna University will declare the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2024 exam result today, March 28. The candidates who appeared for the TANCET 2024 exam will be able to download the result through the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. TANCET Result 2024 Live

As per the official schedule, the TANCET 202 scorecard will be made available for download from April 3 to May 3. Candidates should use their login credentials, such as registration number and date of birth, to check and download the TANCET result 2024.

Candidates should download the TANCET 2024 scorecard before the deadline to avoid any problems during the admission process. The Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA PG) result for engineering admission is also expected to be declared today.

The TANCET 2024 was conducted on March 9 and a total of 39,301 candidates appeared in the exam. The TANCET exam is conducted annually to facilitate admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) degree programs in Tamil Nadu.

Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam will be invited to the TANCET 2024 counselling process. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50 per cent in graduation to be eligible to apply for counselling. However, the reserved category candidates, are required to score 45 per cent.

TANCET 2024 Result: Score normalisation

Candidates who have taken the TANCET, CEETA-PG exams will be notified of their actual marks and percentile scores at the time of result publication. However, to avoid projecting negative scoring, the final scorecard contains only the percentile score. The percentile score is calculated using the following formula:

Percentile score =(Y/N)* 100.

In the provided formula, Y represents the number of students who scored a lesser mark than the candidate in the examination, while N represents the total number of students who appeared for the examination.
