NEW DELHI- TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal (TAPMI) has released admission notification for its two year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme in which it has mentioned that the application process will begin from October 15. Prior to filling the application form, aspiring candidates must fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria. TAPMI offers various specializations in PGDM programmes. Candidates should have a valid scorecard of CAT, XAT or GMAT before they register for the programme.

TAPMI PGDM Admission- Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have done their graduation with not less than 50% marks (Those who are pursuing their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for TAPMI PGDM admission) However, the admission shall be cancelled if they are unable to obtain less than 50% in their graduation.
Apart from that candidates should have a valid scorecard of CAT 2020, XAT 2021 or GMAT (2016-2021)

TAPMI PGDM Admission- Application fee and mode of application
Candidates fulfilling the above-mentioned eligibility criteria will have to pay the application fee (Non-refundable) while filling the application form. Check the details of the TAPMI PGDM admission application fee.

TAPMI follows “Profile-based shortlisting.” Profile considered for shortlisting consists of:
Valid CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores (whichever is higher)
Academic profile (10 th , 12 th , Graduation, Overall academic performance, etc.)
Work experience (type of company, total experience in months, etc.)
Extra-curricular achievements (State/ National/ International) if any
The Statement of Purpose plays a vital role in shortlisting
Stage II Process: English Proficiency Test (EPT)+ Moderated Group Discussion (MGD) + Personal Interview (PI)
Mode of Stage II Process: Online
English Proficiency Test (EPT): EPT assesses the English proficiency across listening, writing, and reading skills of the applicant.
Moderated Group Discussions (MGD): Moderated Group Discussions aims to evaluate the ability of the applicant to interact within a group and enrich the discussion. MGD aims at evaluating applicant’s skills in Problem Solving, Confidence and Assertiveness, Persuasion, Collaboration and Communication. Topics for MGD will be based on current affairs/ issues debated in the last five years. An important change for the forthcoming process is to restrict the number of candidates to 6 per group and have the discussion moderated by the faculty panel.
Personal Interview (PI): TAPMI’s objective for conducting a personal interview is to understand the applicant’s attitude towards management education. To ensure the same TAPMI will be conducting Behavioural Personal Interview. TAPMI will evaluate applicant’s ability in terms of Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Leadership, and Communication.
Final Selection
The final selection of the candidates is based on the scorecard of CAT/ XAT/ GMAT (Overall Percentile) + Verbal Ability Percentile + Academic profile + EPT score + Work experience + MGD Score + PI score.
