Telangana DOST notification 2020 out; registrations for UG admissions from July 1

NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education has released the Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) notification 2020 and has announced that the first phase of the admissions to the undergraduate programmes across the state universities and colleges will begin from July 1. While registering for the phase 1 admissions, candidates have to pay the registration fee of Rs. 200 too which can be paid through credit card/debit card/net banking/TWallet. While the registration for phase 1 will be available from July 1 to 14, the web options for this phase can be exercised from July 6 to 15.
A notification in this regard has been released by the TSCHE officials, which reads, “Online applications are invited for registration and admissions into all Undergraduate Courses, such as B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.Com.(Voc)/B.Com.(Hons)/BSW/BBA/BBM/BCA etc., offered by all the Colleges affiliated to Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University and Satavahana University respectively for the Academic Year 2020- 2021.”

The notification further reads that the seat allotment will take place on July 22 for phase 1 admissions. Further, the candidates have to participate in the online self-reporting (by online payment of college fee/seat reservation fee) to confirm their seat for the respective course.
The UG degree admissions in Telangana state universities and colleges will take place in three phases. As per the DOST notification 2020, further, the second phase registrations will begin on July 23 and close on July 29, while the registration fee is Rs. 400. Web options for UG admissions in Telangana for phase 2 can be done from July 23 to 30. The seat allotment for phase 2 will be done on August 7.
The third phase registrations and web option facility will commence from August 8, while the last date for registration and web options for phase 3 admissions is August 13 and 14 respectively. The seat allotment for phase 3 will be done on August 19, 2020. The DOST 2020 notification dates also reflect that the classes will begin from September 1.
