Unacademy has signed an agreement with Telangana government to provide scholarships to meritorious students from Telangana to prepare for competitive exams.

NEW DELHI: Unacademy, an online learning platform, has signed an agreement with the Telangana government today, April 5, 2022, to provide scholarships to meritorious students from Telangana to help them prepare for competitive exams. The agreement has been signed between Unacademy and the Backward Classes Welfare Department (BCWD) of the Telangana government. Under the scholarship, students will be getting a one-year Unacademy Plus subscription to prepare for competitive exams.
According to a statement from Unacademy, they will organise aptitude tests over the course of three years, for meritorious students of Telangana to help them prepare for state and central government job exams and college entrance exams. The test will be conducted in three phases. As per the agreement, about 4,500 aspirants can enrol on the scholarship programme. Girl students from Telangana who qualify for the aptitude test will receive scholarships under Unacademy’s programme ‘Shikshodaya’.

Candidates who are applying for state government jobs as identified by BCWD, school students studying in Classes 10, 11, and 12, undergraduate and postgraduate college students are eligible for these tests and scholarships, says Unacademy.
