TISS invites online application for BA programmes; apply till March 23

Subscribe NowNEW DELHI, DECEMBER 6 : Tata Institute of Social Sciences has released the application form of TISS BAT 2020 for admission to its BA programmes. Interested candidates can fill and submit the application form of TISS BAT 2020 until March 23. The mode of application is online. The application forms can be filled by visiting the official website of TISS.
With the withdrawal of BA programme in Social Sciences from Hyderabad campus last year, a total of 120 seats are now offered in the two campuses of TISS through bachelor’s admission test. TISS Guwahati offers three years B.A programme in Social Sciences. On the other hand, TISS Tuljapur campus offers two programmes each offering 30 seats. i.e, B.A programme in Social Sciences and B.A Hons in Social Work in Rural Development.
Registered candidates can download their hall tickets from April 11 onwards. TISS BAT 2020 will be conducted on April 25 in computer based mode.

Who are eligible for TISS BAT?
Candidates who have passed senior secondary examination in any stream from a recognized board are eligible for the admissions. Those students who are awaiting for their results can also apply for admission in B.A programmes provided that they are able to produce their intermediate results at the time of admission. The maximum age limit for General/ OBC candidates is 20 years, whereas for SC/ ST candidates the upper age limit is 23 years as on June 30, 2020.
About TISS BAT
Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts the undergraduate level computer based examination in 22 cities around the country. The total duration of the examination is 90 minutes. The maximum marks of the examination is 100 and the question paper is divided into two parts. The question paper consists of both multiple choice and descriptive questions form topics and subjects such as General awareness, English proficiency, Numerical ability and Logical reasoning.
