TN TET 2025 registration opens for school teacher, college professor posts; apply by September 8

Subscribe NowThe Teachers Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu has begun the registrations for TN Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) 2025, scheduled to be conducted from November 1 for recruiting school teachers, and college professors at various education institutions across the state. Eligible candidates can apply for the written test through the official website at trb.tn.gov.in.
The board will close the TN TET 2025 registration window on September 8, and the edit option to make changes to the application form will be available from September 9 to 11.
General category candidates will have to pay Rs 600 as registration charges. Those belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Special Central Assistance (SCA), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and differently abled persons are required to pay Rs 300 as application fee.
Candidates can make payment through the online payment gateway including net banking, credit card, debit card.
The board will conduct the TN TET 2025 paper 1 on November 1, and paper 2 on November 2. The exam will be held for a duration of three hours. The question paper will consists of 150 multiple choice questions.
There is no upper age limit to appear in the TN TET 2025. However, candidates willing to register for the recruitment exam must have attained the age of 18 or above to be eligible for the test. As per the selection criteria, candidates will be selected on the basis of scores obtained in the TET written exam.

What is TN TET?
The Teachers Recruitment Board recruits teachers in schools under the School Education Department. The TET exam is conducted for recruitment to various categories of posts at school education, higher education level and director of legal studies.
The recruitment exam is conducted for various positions such as secondary grade teachers, physical education teachers, BT assistants, sewing teachers, music teachers, and many more at different schools in the state.
It is also a gateway for various posts in higher education, which includes assistant professors in government engineering colleges, lectures in polytechnic colleges, and assistant professors in government arts and science colleges.
The government law colleges also recruit assistant professors through the TN TET.
