TNEA 2025 Counselling: TNEA will release the provisional allotment for "accept and join" and tentative allotment for "accept and upward" option from July 31, 2025.

The Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, has announced the seat allotment result for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) round 2 counselling 2025 today, July 29. Candidates who participated in the counselling can download the TNEA round 2 seat allotment letter through the official website at tneaonline.org.

Candidates should use their login details, such as email id and password, to download the TNEA round 2 tentative allotment letter 2025. Candidates allotted a seat in the TNEA round 2 counselling 2025 will have to confirm their allotment by tomorrow, July 30.
“Tentative allotment has been released for all applicable second round candidate, request you to login and confirm the allotment on or before 30-07-2025, 5 PM, if you fail to confirm your allotment it will be stand as cancelled,” the official website read.
As per the schedule, TNEA will release the provisional allotment for "accept and join" and tentative allotment for "accept and upward" option from July 31, 2025. College joining and TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFC) reporting will take place from July 31 to August 4. The TNEA round 2 provisional allotment for upward option candidates will be out before August 7.

TNEA 2025 counselling is being conducted in three rounds. The choice filling process for the TNEA round 3 counselling will be held from August 7 to August 9. TNEA 2025 counselling is held to allot seats in undergraduate engineering courses across Tamil Nadu. Based on Class 12 marks, the process ensures merit-based admission to BTech, BE programmes in government and private colleges, as there is no entrance exam.
