NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 14: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the tentative answer key of TNPSC Group 2 on November 14. The exam of which was conducted on November 11, 2018. The subject-wise answer key of TNPSC Group 2 is available in PDF format. The answer key displays the correct answers of questions asked in the exam.
Candidates can also raise objection is they find any discrepancies in the answer key. According to official notification, “Representations if any have to be sent to the Commission’s office within seven days. Representations received after November 21 will not be accepted. Candidates sending their representations by post or email will be rejected.”
To challenge the answer key, candidates will have to select the name of the recruitment, register number, application number, date of birth, select the subject and question number. The objection against TNPSC Group 2 answer key will be reviewed by the subject-matter experts. If objections are found to be correct, then TNPSC will release the revised answer key. The marks of candidates will be calculated based on the revised answer key.
The correct answer in the answer key has been tick marked in the respective choices for each question. Using TNPSC Group 2 answer key 2018, candidates can check the correct answers as well as calculate their probable score. As per the marking scheme, candidates for correct answer will score 1 mark. Candidates can calculate their probable score based on the number of correct answers.
As per media reports, over 6,26,726 candidates have appeared for the preliminary exam of TNPSC. In Madurai, out of 34,476 registered candidates only 25419 candidates appeared for the exam. In Dindigul, out of 17,353 registered candidates, over 12,599 took the exam.
TNPSC Group 2 exam is conducted to select candidates for various Group 2 posts in different government departments of the state. As many 1199 vacancies will be filled through this examination.
